Being
faculty’s adored batch, it has inspired them to impart
knowledge. It becomes a privilege on our part to present
such Students who are honest, dedicated and optimistic
towards the corporate world.
For an institution, students have cherished long in its
memory, as the college takes all the necessary steps to
turn these students into winners. Students are like an
idol sculptured with gems, each so precious that every
individual has a unique value. |

Students have
also taken keen interest in sports and cultural activities
along with the academics. This is well substantiated in
the outstanding results and the various prizes they have
won in inter collegiate fests. The faculties have taken
care to shape each individual student by continuous
counseling.
Students' Opinion
To be an Alumni of SJEC is a matter of Nostalgic Pride
and Honour. For me, SJEC is an exceptional place; it has
turned out to be my Second Home. I have been associated
with SJEC since 1991 and have fond memories. Its ambiance
brings Joy and Happiness to me.. It is a place of warmth
and serenity which builds bridges across a wider spectrum.
I had wonderful Lecturers, who inspired me, with their
intellectual, affectionate and down to earth approach.
Their commendable lives led me also to be a Lecturer. The
motto of the Josephite: Faith and Toil still dwells in my
heart as I journey my life along. I owe a lot to St
Josephs Evening College,
I wish the Institution remains in perpetuity.

A STUDENT’S EXPERIENCE AT ST.JOSEPH’S EVENING COLLEGE
"Don't spend time just working and being busy. You will
always complain about lack of time. Instead put little bit
of effort; Plan and Organize your life. You will realize
that you have time for everything."
We, the students of St. Joseph's Evening College, who work
during the day and study in the evening, believe in the
above mentioned quotation. That is because we have time
not only to work, but also to study and come up in life.
Just believing in this quotation is not sufficient; it
needs effort and practice.. We, as students are still
novices in our career and it is necessary for us to have a
guide who can help us to channelize our efforts to plan
and organize our life effectively to realize that we have
miles and miles to go before we reach our destiny.
St. Joseph's evening college, with its teaching and
non-teaching staff has been playing a major role of being
our guide in helping us to reach our destiny. It has been
a place, where we are provided with lots of opportunities
to develop our talents in all the spheres of our life
(Academic, Sports, cultural, spiritual etc). They not only
help us to develop our talents, but also make us people
with true human spirit, with their constant moral
education. The staff, themselves are an inspiration to us
because they have a smile on their face for each and every
student they teach and make us feel at home with an
environment surrounded with healthy relationship. By the
end of our study in this college, all of us are instilled
with the spirit of MAGIS, of saying…….

St. Joseph’s evening college
On the first day of college, before walking into the
campus I stood outside the main entrance for a minute and
stared blankly at the statue of St. Joseph. The grandeur
of the college building with its Victorian architecture
intimidated me. Today, when I fondly look upon the same
building I feel a sense of Pride and belonging. The
aphorism of faith and toil that the founders of this
profound institution adopted more than one and a half
century ago so aptly, illuminates the lives of the
students who study here. My impression of this college is
one of pride, affection and awe. Our college is an
outstanding example of the human spirit that imbibes
resilience, faith and hope .Viva la St. Joseph’s Evening
College.
