PG Orientation program

St. Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous) is an Institution which aims at holistic and integral formation of its students, fostering in them a spirit of academic excellence. With this in mind, the College organised an Orientation Programme for the P.G. students (M.A/M.Com) on 11th June 2018 in the College A.V. room. The program was coordinated by Professor Diwakar (Head of Department, Department of English). The students welcomed the chief guests Rev. Fr. Arun D'souza SJ (Director, St. Joseph’s Evening College, Autonomous), Professor Ravi Richard (Department of Commerce), and Dr. Albert Smith (Principal, St. Joseph’s Evening College, Autonomous).The formal programme began by invoking God's blessings by lighting of the lamp and a prayer song by the college choir. Fr. Arun D'souza addressed the gathering with his inspiring words. Professor Ravi Richard spoke to the students about the importance of education in the modern society and the beauty of learning while earning. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Professor Balaji (Department of Commerce).
