Academic Calendar :

The 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters will commence in June
The 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters will commence in November
A semester will be of 15 weeks for teaching, one week for mid semester test and three weeks for end semester examination.
In total, a semester will be for 19 weeks.

Syllabus : New autonomous syllabus.

Assessment Procedure : Assessment will be based on the performance of the candidate throughout the semester. Assessment of each paper will be done as follows :

Continuous Internal Assessment : 50%
End Semester Examinations : 50%

Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) :

Two Unit Test	: 30 marks
Assignment	: 05 marks
Quizzes/Seminars/Case Studies/Project Work	: 10 marks
Attendance	: 05 marks

The marks destribution for attendance is as follows :

95% - 100% -> 5 marks
90% - 94% -> 4 marks
85% - 89% -> 3 marks
80% - 84% -> 2 marks
75% - 79% -> 1 marks

End Semester Examinations(ESE) :

There will be an end semester examination for 3 hours
The time table for the ESE will be announced by the Controller of Examinations
The minimum attendance requirement to write ESE is 75% in each subject.

Credit Structures :

One credit = 15 lectures
English	: 16 credits (4 credits per semester)
Languages	: 16 credits (4 credits per semester)
Core Subjects	: 112 credits( I to IV semester = 15 credits each; V & VI semester = 24 credits each)
H.R.D	: 3 credits
Extension Activities	: 3 credits
A complete B.A course carries 150 credits.

The candidate's final marks card will carry the total marks, percentage, grade, grade point, interpretation and class obtained.
