SJEC has a well structred placement and career division. There is a tie-up with employment agencies in the city which provides training in specific skills and placements which cover a wide range of positions in a constantly changing managerial scenario. There is a bulletein board specifically designed to offer information on job opportuinites all round the year. In adittion to these, the college also organizes seminars on career counselling by managers and academicians. The University insists that all students who apply for admission be employed. The programmes and training provided at college are to enhance intrinsic abilities and skills to the students'.
