‘La Storia’ is
the association of students interested in the study of
History and culture. Its objective is to promote an
awareness of great cultural heritage of our country among
students. It tries to inculcate and cultivate the
importance of History among students. La Storia tries to
bring about awareness of new contemporary society that can
draw both inspiration and guidelines from historical
personalities and events.
La Storia, the History Association was first set up in
1993 under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Walter Andrade. Since
then, the Association has |

| been very active in promoting cultural
awareness among our students by undertaking different
activities such as Essay Writing, Debate on various
issues, Picture identification contest, sketching,
painting etc. The crowning glory of La Storia is the Inter
Collegiate History written quiz which is held annually.
More than hundred students belonging to different colleges
of the city participate in it. The Association organizes
exhibitions on the topics ‘Unity in Diversity’ and
‘Milestones in History’. It organizes
a tour to all the
historical and cultural sites of North Karnataka. In the
coming years , La Storia has planned out a number of
innovative activities and hopes to do the best. |
