On January 23, 2021, the Bembala Outreach Team, St Joseph’s Evening College (Autonomous) conducted the Volunteers Valedictory Ceremony to recognise the efforts of SJEC students in volunteering for the vaccination drive organised by Government of Karnataka in collaboration with Aarogya Seva.

The following dignitaries graced the special occasion: Dr Dayaprasad Kulkarni, Founder and Director, Aarogya Seva; Dr Bhaskar Rajakumar, Officer on Special Duty, BBMP Warroom; and K R Pallavi, Joint Commissioner, East Zone, BBMP. The Principal of SJEC, Dr Albert Joseph Smith, and the Outreach Coordinator, SJEC, Mr Ebenezer Sam were also present.

A certificate of appreciation was awarded to the college and the volunteers by the Government of Karnataka and BBMP.
